About Vilma's Ceramic Art

Vilma's innovative pottery is entirely hand made therefore each piece is a unique creation.

After forming the pot or sculpture, at the crucial moment each piece is carefully hand polished. It is then given it's first firing in an electric kiln.

The final firing is done in a sawdust kiln. This method produces a variety of colour from black to soft greys with each piece unfolding during the process to form it's own character
